squirt Low Temp Chain Lube

Squirt's Low Temp Chain Lube was specially developed for use at low temperatures from approx. 0°C and below. It penetrates deep into the spaces between the chain links and leaves a dry protective wax film that protects your chain from dirt, dust and corrosion. Black chain and chainring vein tattoo are now a thing of the past!

The Squirt Low Temp Chain Lube also reduces friction losses, ensures smooth gear changes and can minimise wear. It consists of a biodegradable wax/water emulsion that does not require solvents. Plus, it doesn’t have that typical oil-based lubricant smell.

Directions for use:
Before applying Squirt Low Temp Chain Lube for the first time, you should clean, degrease, and dry your entire drivetrain (chain, sprockets, chainrings, derailleur pulleys). The manufacturer suggests using the undiluted Squirt Bike Cleaner bicycle cleaner concentrate (prod. code: 2317811) or a commercially available degreaser. Then shake the bottle of chain wax and apply it to the inner rollers of the chain while turning the crank. After about five minutes, repeat this process. The chain wax should be completely dry before you ride off.
It is not necessary or recommended to degrease or wash the drive again after the first application - that way the protective wax film remains intact! If necessary, it is sufficient to remove dirt with a dry cloth or brush. Reapply the chain wax as needed.
