Effortless gear changes on any terrain
With the GRX 400 on your Blend Gravel bike, you can ride both on and off-road. Shimano’s gravel groupset shifts reliably in all conditions – through dust or mud, over roots and stones. With 2x10 gears, ranging from high to low, you won’t run out of steam even on hills.
Gravel paths? Take it easy.
The 40 mm gravel tyres provide reliable grip even off-road. Their air volume absorbs shocks, and wide aluminium rims provide stability. Even in everyday use, the all-round tyre rolls smoothly, helping you get from A to B quickly. For quick rides on the road, you can easily switch to narrower tyres.
Control in the drops, comfort at the top
The Ritchey Butano is as well thought-out as your Blend: offering adjustable hand positions and ergonomic features. As is typical for gravel bikes, the lower part of the handlebar curves slightly outwards for more control on descents. The flattened top bar also reduces strain on the hands when cycling uphill. A versatile gravel handlebar, from full throttle to totally relaxed.

Classification
Category 2
This category applies to bicycles and e-bikes* that meet the conditions of category 1 and are ridden on normal roads as well as in category 2 on unpaved roads and gravel paths with moderate inclines and descents. The tyres are in constant contact with the ground at average speed and they are only occasionally ridden over steps and drops of less than 15 cm. These conditions can lead to contact with uneven terrain and the tyre repeatedly losing contact with the ground. The intended use is, for example, recreational riding. You don’t require any special riding skills.
