Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 Oil Change Set

In order to maintain full performance of the Speedhub 500/14 gear hubs in demanding everyday and touring use, Rohloff recommends changing the oil once a year or every 5000 km. Through this process you can be sure that there will always be enough oil in the hub regardless of oil loss (due to oil sweat) and that any penetrated water will be rinsed out.

Technical details:
• Disposable syringe volume: 50 ml
• Contents: 25 ml bottle & 12.5 ml bottle

In the box:
• 1 Rohloff cleaning oil (25 ml)
• 1 Rohloff SPEEDHUB all-season oil (12.5 ml)
• 1 Rohloff non-returnable syringe
• 1 Rohloff tube, incl. fill nipple
• 1 Rohloff oil drain plug with sealant


Note:
The oil filling quantity of 12.5 ml for flushing and all-season oil is sufficient to top up the residual oil quantity adhering to the component surfaces of the gearbox to the required total oil quantity of 25 ml. An excessively high oil level in the gearbox promotes oil leaks.
For disposal, the entire extraction quantity can be poured into the 50 ml cleaning oil bottle.
