SHIMANO XTR RD-M9250 Di2 Rear Derailleur, 12-speed

Robust. Resilient. Ready for anything.
The SHIMANO RD-M9250 XTR rear derailleur features the company's own wireless Di2 shifting technology and an automatic Impact Recovery function.

The flat, wedge-shaped design of the XTR rear derailleur reduces stone chips and impacts on the trail through its shape alone. And if an impact does occur, the rear derailleur can slide off obstacles on the trail thanks to the smooth outer coating and thus prevent damage.
The automatic Impact Recovery function immediately returns the derailleur motor to its original position after an impact, while the wide joint structure, durable carbon plate and solid derailleur pulleys ensure robustness.

The SHIMANO XTR RD-M9250 rear derailleur is available with a medium and long cage.

Medium-length cage (RD-M9250-GS):
Optimised for shock resistance, the RD-M9250-GS rear derailleur with medium-length cage, combined with the 9 – 45 tooth cassette, is an excellent choice for both top enduro athletes and XC racers who care about the weight.

Long cage (RD-M9250-SGS):
Speed paired with range; the RD-M9250-SGS rear derailleur with long cage is designed to be combined with the 10 – 51 tooth cassette. It easily withstands hard impacts on the trail and scores with lightning-fast shifting speed and top performance.

Details:
• Robust design: A wide link structure, the narrow design, the durable carbon plate and solid pulleys ensure robustness.
• Rear derailleur protection function: The new automatic Impact Recovery function immediately returns the derailleur motor to its original position after an impact.
• SHIMANO SHADOW ES: This development of SHIMANO's SHADOW concept for chain stabilisation is narrower and more robust.
• Precise and smooth wireless shifting: Wireless Di2 and HYPERGLIDE+ technology ensure harmonious, precise and delay-free shifting.
• Wedge-shaped: The new wedge shape of SHIMANO's most resistant rear derailleur to date avoids more direct impacts and glides smoothly over obstacles in the event of an impact.
• Protected battery: The battery is safely shielded so that it does not slip even in rough terrain. It can be easily removed for charging.
