KMC GO CHAIN WAX

KMC’s GO CHAIN WAX not only promises reduced friction and high mileage, but also excellent dirt repellence.   Only a clean chain is a fast chain that also wears more slowly. This is made possible by a special property of the wax lubricant, which differs from oil-based lubricants: After application and drying, GO CHAIN WAX leaves a dry, dirt- and water-repellent wax layer on and in the chain. This can significantly reduce dirt build-up and increase efficiency.   Details:

    Note: Waxed chains do not need to be dewaxed for refreshing with GO CHAIN WAX. It is sufficient to clean your chain with a dry cloth before applying the chain wax. You should of course also keep the rest of your drivetrain clean in order to achieve optimum function and high durability. If you want to treat an oil-lubricated chain with GO CHAIN WAX, you should degrease and clean it first.   Tip: KMC recommends applying GO CHAIN WAX to the dry and cleaned chain of road bikes after approx. 250 kilometres of riding. A maintenance interval of approx. 100 km is recommended for off-road use. Shorter intervals may also be necessary when riding in wet conditions.   Directions for use: Shake the chain wax bottle well before applying. Then apply to the inside of the chain. Do not wipe off excess wax. Allow to dry completely before riding.   If the chain has been removed from the bike for cleaning, the rivets of the KMC MissingLink must be waxed before closing. Please note that not all missing links are suitable for repeated opening/closing. After installation, please check the fit of the missing link and the functionality of the chain.
