fi´zi:k Tempo Aliante R1 Light Saddle

The fi'zi:k Tempo Aliante R1 Light is one of the more comfortable saddles in the Fizik range. Just like its predecessors, it impresses on the long haul without losing sight of performance.

The weight has been further reduced thanks to the R1 Light architecture. In addition to the carbon-reinforced polyamide saddle shell and the oval carbon saddle rails, the Tempo Aliante R1 Light comes with a new, uncovered EVA padding. According to the manufacturer, the saddle only weighs approx. 150 grams, even in the large size.

The generous centre cut-out provides pressure relief in the perineal area. The zoned EVA padding provides reactive cushioning that offers comfort and support without compromising the ergonomic shape or increasing the thickness. 
To achieve this, the Endurance saddle has a slightly curved shape with a rising rear end and a slightly curved saddle nose. As a result, the ischial tuberosities are optimally supported and the pressure on the saddle surface is evenly distributed – ideal for long, fast days in the saddle.
