The S 42 Disc rear wheel gives you access to Mavic's legendary Cosmic model range and thus to the world of high-performance carbon wheels from the traditional French manufacturer.

The combination of the 42 mm high yet lightweight aero carbon rim and the 24 flow-optimised spokes makes the wheel an outstanding all-rounder that masters the balancing act between speed sessions on flat terrain and steep climbs with ease. The Cosmic S 42 harmonises perfectly with 28 mm wide road tyres in terms of aerodynamics. Thanks to the 21 mm inner rim width, you can of course also fit wider tyres. No half measures were taken with the hub either: Mavic's Instant Drive 360 toothed disc freewheel with 9° degree engagement ensures lightning-fast propulsion and high durability. In addition, the self-aligning industrial bearings optimise the hub’s rigidity and power transmission as well as its ease of maintenance.
