Feathers and down materials have been replaced by natural or synthetic fibres, such as flocus, a "plant down" obtained from kapok trees. The hollow fibre insulation is a warm padding in winter and cooling functional material in summer. What’s more, Kapok has water-repellent and antibacterial properties.
