Maxxis Reaver [Gen.2] TR EXO HYPR-X Folding Gravel Tyre

The MAXXIS Reaver [Gen.2] is a gravel tyre with a focus on low rolling resistance on firm and fast surfaces. The low-profile tread design with mini diamond knobs enables efficient rolling behaviour and at the same time improves traction on dusty or loose surfaces.

Paddle-shaped transverse knobs are designed to provide additional grip when braking and accelerating, while slotted shoulder knobs provide even lateral support and additional control in corners. The construction is complemented by the revised hot-patch design on the sidewall.

Within the MAXXIS gravel range, the Reaver is positioned between the road-orientated Receptor and the more versatile Rambler. This makes the tyre particularly suitable for fast gravel use on firm and dry surfaces.

• EXO PROTECTION
EXO Protection is an extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant protective layer on the sidewall of selected MTB, Gravel and Metro tyres from MAXXIS. The tightly woven material is designed to be both light and flexible, so that the performance of the tyres is affected as little as possible.

• HYPR-X Compound®
HYPR-X is a rubber compound which has been specially developed for gravel tyres by MAXXIS. It combines properties of the HYPR road tyre compound with elements of the MaxxSpeed MTB compound and is designed to reduce rolling resistance and improve cornering traction compared to the previous DUAL compound.

• TUBELESS READY [TR] 
In the MAXXIS range, Tubeless Ready [TR] refers to tyres with a construction that is designed for tubeless use with a sealant, a compatible tubeless rim or matching rim tape. The system enables lower air pressures and is intended to improve traction and ride quality, while reducing the rolling resistance. In addition, minor damages can be sealed directly by the sealant, which reduces the risk of breakdowns.
