Highlights & Technologies:

MERINO WOOL:
Compared to traditional wool, Merino offers a particularly fine fibre. Because of the extreme weather conditions merino sheep are exposed to in nature, the wool has strong thermoregulation properties and is capable of wicking moisture away from the body particularly fast. Thus, it creates a warm protective layer for the entire body, even when wet. In contrast to traditional wool, merino wool is not scratchy even when wet. Thus, merino is perfect as a next-to-skin layer. Yet, merino wool is also ideal for warm summer days since its high breathability has a cooling effect. Thanks to its sun protection factor, high comfort, odour-inhibiting properties and fire resistance, merino wool is a very popular fibre.

TRANSTEX MERINO 200: 
Transtex is Löffler's two-layer knitting technology. The material comes with an inner layer made of polypropylene that wicks sweat away from the skin and remains dry itself. This two-layer technology uses merino wool on the outside which is known for its very good thermal insulation and high moisture absorption. The fibres can absorb up to 30% of their own weight in moisture without feeling damp. At the same time, merino wool is very light, breathable and naturally odourless.
