ROSE Xeon RS-3100 double

I absolutely love this bike! I am new to a compact gear set but have clocked up about 1400 miles now although I have not yet tested it on any serious climbs the Xeon RS 3100 has lived up to all expectations. The ordering and delivery process was without fault, assembly was simple. First rides had to be postponed until after the poor UK winter weather had abated. The quality of engineering is outstanding, the ride is firm but lively, even frisky, (not recommended for Belgian cobbles!) and the bike invites being ridden at pace. The Ultegra 6700 Di2 is a joy to use and elevates the bike to the highest levels by combining performance and affordability . The paint finish and logo (black/yellow) is stunningly attractive and secures many admiring glances from other riders. The Force/Attack tyres give excellent rolling speed and performance although I had problems with the Schwalbe tubes which both had leaky valves. Otherwise, I remain delighted with my purchase and I would recommend the aluminium Rose experience to anyone.

voraussichtlichen Liefertermin ziemlich gut eingehalten Montage etwas nachlässig: Vorderbremse schleift links an Felge - Nachjustierung an Bremskörper nicht möglich, da schon an Anschlag, Ausrichtung nur über Neujustierung Bremszug möglich. Schaltung schlecht eingestellt - Laute Klackergeräusche beim treten, Kette schleift an Ritzel 5 - 10. An Sattel löst sich Abdeckung an unterer Sattelkante wg. lockerer Schraube (ist aber wohl eher Fertigungsfehler des Sattelherstellers als der Montage bei Rose) Vorbau sollte mit positiver Ausrichtung (+6) montiert werden, ist aber negativ (-6) montiert (passt glücklicherweise aber auch so, wäre sonst eher zu hoch geraten) Rad selbst einwandfrei, in 2 Wochen 500 km gefahren. Handling, Komfort, Laufruhe prima.

Almost perfect. The build quality is very good. The small minus comes from the routing of the brake cable: the front section of internally routed cable exits the top pipe just where your knee is when riding hard out of saddle. It is annoying as it rubs your leg. Also, the conical spacer could be lower to give more adjustability.

Hervorragendes Rad, das im Training und im Wettbewerb durch einen absolut steifen Rahmen, super Laufverhalten und, dank Carbon Sattelstütze, sehr guten Sitzkomfort besticht. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis mit DI-2 unschlagbar. Letztere ist tatsächlich völlig ausgereift und bei jeder Situation (auch Regen) völlig spitze.

Ich bedanke mich bei Rose für dieses hervorragende Rad. Wer noch keine Di2 Schaltung gefahren hat ,der hat was verpaßt. Kontakt zum Berater war gut und Liefertermin wurde bestens eingehalten.

Helt problemfrit og let at handle med med Rose. Cyklen kom ubeskadiget frem, og til tiden. Dette er ikke en karakter for cyklen, men kun for selve forløbet af handlen.

Ce vélo est parfait, confortable et suffisamment léger pour mon utilisation. La transmission électrique Shimano est d'une grande douceur. Je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de rouler beaucoup avec, mais dès ma première sortie de 100 km j'ai senti la différence par rapport à mon ancien vélo, il est beaucoup plus vif et facile à diriger. Je suis persuadé que je vivre de très bons moments sur les routes, aussi bien sur le plat que dans les cols. La livraison quand à elle fut effectuée dans les temps, dans un carton qui le protégeait parfaitement. Le montage des derniers éléments fut d'une grande simplicité. La finition des soudures est elle aussi parfaite, pas de cordon disgracieux, c'est lisse. Bravo!!
